What's the Cue?

In the games of pool and billiards, one ball stands alone; the cue ball. This is the white ball with which the player uses his or her cue to propel on to the other balls, known as the object balls.

The cue ball is the most unique of all billiards balls, as it lacks any numbers or markings and is a stark plain white color. Depending on the type of game, the cue ball may be much larger than the other pool balls, or it may be similar in shape and size.
